Finally....

I don’t even know where to start…Avery is 18 months and growing like a weed. She is just hilarious! Some of her favorite things: reading books, being outside, riding in her wagon, shopping, playing with friends or should I say bullying her friends, and can’t forget DANCING! The girl LOVES to dance…anything to do with dancing or music, count her IN! We still enjoy going to storytime, seeing our friends on playdates, going to the zoo, Hawiian Falls (our local waterpark) and Little Gym (although we are looking into gymnastics!)

We have recently moved, so we are all getting adjusted to our new house and schedule. Avery started pre-school this year and she is doing great…teach says she’s a pro! She goes 2 days a week from 9 to 2:30. I thought it was going to be a tough one, but on the 1st day of school, she gave me a hand wave and said bye-bye. When I went to pick her up, she didn’t even want to leave. We get a daily report on activities and fun she had for the day, which is nice. We are already working on a collection of art.

This summer our family vacation was awesome! We went to Schlitterbaun and Sea World. Avery had a BLAST! She LOVED Shamu….even today if you ask her “How do you call Shamu?” She moves her hands up and down. Avery and Brad really got to spend sometime together and bond. I would have to say she is slowly becoming more of a Daddy’s girl, but I also think it’s because she is realizing he is a softy and does whatever she wants.

Avery is a bit of a chatter box these days. Her new favorites are: what? and why? aren’t we so lucky!!! She loves to repeat everything you say. Brad and I have really been watching our vocabulary and haven’t heard a curse word yet, but we will see how long that lasts (not that we just curse a lot, but sometimes a word does slip out here and there).

We have just gotten a new addition to the family….Papa bought Avery a beta fish, his name is Red. Avery not only LOVES her bubba Chief, but also her new fishy Red.

Hopefully, now that things are starting to settle down from the crazy summer we had, I can do a better job of updating the blog. Here are some recent pics...still working on finding all my picture CD's from the move…..Love you all and see you soon!
